Update On China
In keeping with the example of the New Testament disciples, young seminarians in China are sent two by two into provinces throughout the country and neighboring regions to evangelize and plant churches. Recently, two young women shared about God’s miraculous protection and guidance while they were sharing the Gospel in Mongolia.
“We had made our way into a village in rural Mongolia where we were sharing the Gospel with a large crowd that had gathered to hear us,” one of the ladies recalled. “At the end of the service, the authorities came to investigate what was happening and we were forced to flee out into the desert in the dark of night. We quickly became lost.”
After wandering for some time, the young women realized they were lost – without shelter, provision, or direction. The girls began praying, committing their circumstances into God’s care and provision. Some time later, the ladies saw a light in the distance and began following it, assuming it was a shepherd.
“We followed the light for several hours,” this young woman explained, “until we reached the edge of a village. At that point, the light disappeared. We made our way into the village where we were able to continue sharing the Gospel with the local people, teaching them the truth of Christ through the Scriptures.”
Miraculous stories of God leading and providing for the leaders of His church in China are especially heartwarming as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ – God’s greatest miracle. It is your support of WorldServe that makes it possible for us to train young seminarians like these two women. Give a gift today that changes lives for eternity!
